Ordinance 351 r -- ~-~" ~ ORDINANCE NO. 3!) / AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 310 OF ARTICLE II, CHAPTER II, PART III, O~' THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GILROY, BY AMENDING PARAGRAPH 37a THEREOF, RELATIVE "1'0 THE LICENSE TAX ON "rRAVELING STREET SHOWS. THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNlJIL 0\:1' THE CITY OF GILROY DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That Paragraph 37a of Section 310 of Article II, Chapter II, part III, of the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy be and is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit: 37a. Every person, firm or corporation who shall conduct or carryon in a tent or other temporary structure erected solely for the purpose of such entertainment or upon any lot or open space within the City of Gilroy, any show, exhibition, performance, airdrome performance or entertainment, girl show, musical concert or comedy, drama, comedy drama or farce, vaudeville or theatrical performance, road show, freak exhibition; or run or conduct flying horses, so called, or merry-go-rounds, ferris wheel or any mechanical swing, car or other such device; or exhibit devices such as,~ telescopes, microscopes, lung testers, muscle testers, ball, knife or ring throwing, and all devices similar in character not otherwise specially licensed, shall pay a license tax therefor of seventy-five dollars per day. SECTION II. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION III.
