AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 392 OF ARTICLE I OF
PART IV OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GSLROY, REGU-
LATING THE CLOSING HOURS OF ALL BOWLING ALLEYS, POOL AND
BILLIARD HALLS, CIGAR STANDS, SOFT DRINK ESTABLISHMENTS,
OR PLACES WHERE SOFT DRINKS ARE SOLD, AND PROVIDING A
PENALTY POR VIOLATING THE SAME.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy
do ordain as follows:
SECTION I.
Section 392 of Article I of Part IV of the Municipal
Code of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended to read as
follows, to -wit:
Section 392. It shall be unlawful for any and all
proprietor, or proprietors, owner, or owners, of bowling
alleys, billiard or pool halls, cigar stands, soft drink
establishments, or any place where soft drinks are sold
to remain open after the hour of twelve o'clock, midnight,
and before the hour of four o' clock A. M.
SECTION II.
Any person, firm, or corporation or association, either
as principal, agent or employee, violating any provision or
provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punish6d :_.
by a fine not exceeding $100.00,.or bV imprisonment in the {
City Prison, not exceeding thirty days, or by both such fine
and imprisonment.

SECTION III.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV.
This-Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
