AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER IV OF
PART II OF THE MUNICIPAL CODS OF TNB CITY OF GILROY, BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION THERNTO -- TO BE NUMBERED SECTION 245,
PROVIDING FOR FEES TO BE PAID WHEN FILING APPLICATIONS
FOR BUILDING PERMITS AND FOR INSPECTION OF BUILDINGS.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy
do ordain as follow&:
Section 1. That Article IfI of Chapter IV of Part
II of the Municipal Code of'the City of Gilroy be amended,
and the same is hereby amended by adding a new Section
thereto to be numbered, 245 and to read as follows:
"Section 245. Every application for a building permit
shall be filed with the City Clerk and a fee of one dollar
paid to said Clerk for filing same. when a permit for
building permit is issued by the Clerk a further fee of
Two and 50/100 ($2.50) Dollars shall be paid to the City
Clerk as a fee for inspecting the completed building."
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
