AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13, OF ORDINANCE NO. 216,
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE IN RELATIuN TO SEINER$ PLUMB-
ING AND DRAINAGE".
The mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do
ordain as follows:

That Section 13 of Ordinance No. 216 of the City of
Gilroy be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows,
to -wit:
Section 13. All pipe shall be designated by its
internal diameter, and shall, except when cast iron is
used, be of first quality "Standard" vitrified salt glazed
sewer pipe, sound and well burned throughout its entire
thickness, impervious to moisture, of smooth and well
glazed exterior and interior surfaces, free from all im-
perfections, circular in bore, varying from a true circle
not more than one twenty- fourth of its diameter, with uniform
standard thickness, of true form in its length and of the
exact specified diameter. All vitrified salt glazed sewer
pipe must be at least two feet, and not more than three feet
in length, with sockets which must be circular and concentric
with bore of pipe, or shall be Cement - Concrete Bell End Sewer
Pipe made according to the specifications of the American
Society for Testing Materials.

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage end approval.
