ORDINANCE NO.
413
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF FIRE-CRACKERS, FIRE
WORKS OR OTHER LIKE EXPLOSIVES WITHIN THE CITY OF GILROY.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person,
firm, corporation or association to vend, sell, offer for sale
or distribute at retail or to the public in any manner whatsoever,
any fire~crackers, fire works or other like explosives within the

City of Gilroy.
SECTION 2:' Any person, firm, corporation or association who
violates any of the terms of this ordinance shall be punished by
a fine not to exceed One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, or by imprison-
ment in the City Jail of the City of Gilroy for a period not exceed-
ing thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day
any such firm, person, corporation or association shall violate any
of the terms hereof shall be deemed a separate offense.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
