I special fund to be known as the IISpecial Gas Tax Street Improve-
AN ORDINANCE CREATING A SPECIAL GAS TAX STREET IMPROVE-
MENT FUND AND REGULATING EXPENDITURE OF MONEYS RECEIVED
FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
THE STREETS AND ,HIGHWAYS CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City
of Gilroy:
Section 1.
There is hereby created in the city treasury a
ment Fund".
Section 2. All moneys received by the city from the State
of California under the provisions of the Streets and Highways
Code for the acquisition of real property or interests therein
for, or the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets
or highways other than State highways shall be paid into said fun.
Section 3. All moneys in said fund shall be' expended ex-
clusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to ,the
applicable provisions of the Streets and HJghways Code.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after the date of its passage and approval.

by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen George C. Milias, Jr., S. D. Heck,
George A. Wentz, It'. C. Boock.
NOES: Councilmen None
