AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB. SECTION (a) OF SECTION
2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3?0 OF THE CITY OF qILROY, RELATIVE
TO THE PAYMENT OF A LICENSE FOR DOGS.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GIL-
ROY DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:-
THAT sub. seotion (a) of seotion 2 of Ordinance
No. 3?0 of the City of Gilroy, be and the same is here-
by amended to read as follows:
(a) It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to
procure at the expense ,of the City such number of
tags as may be necessary and issue the same to owners
of dogs upon paying a lioense fee of $1.00 per year
for each male and female dog. Owners purohasing said
tags must attach them in a secure mann~r to their dog
or dogs. Said yea~herein referred to shall end on
Jhly 1st, following the issuanoe of the tags, and upon
the face of the tag must appear' the year during which ~
said tag is in foroe.
All dogs captured under, the provisions of this
ordinance shall be securely oonfined until redesmed
by the owner as herein provided, or killed.
