RESOLUTION OF '!HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY APPROVING MEMORDNDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF i CENT GAS TAX
ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE
WHEREAS, the State of Ca1ifornia,through its Depart-
ment of Public Works,Division of Highways ,has presented
a memorandum agreement in aocordance with a projeot
statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the
1/4 cent gas tax for the fisoal year 1938 allocated for
Streets of Major Importanoe other than state highways in
the City 0 f G11roy, and
WHEREAS,the City Council has heard read said agree-
ment in full and is familiar with the oontents thereof,
and desires to approve the same;
THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Counoi1 of the
City of Gilroy that said agreement for expenditure of
l/4 oent gas tax allocated for streets of Major Importanoe
other than state Highways be and the same is hereby approved
and the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same
on behalf of said city.
