Ordinance 382 ORDINANCE NO. 382 ts. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND PERMITTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SANrACLARA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, THE USE OF SIXTH STREET FROM THE EASTERLY LINE OF ~OREST STREET TO THE' EASTERLY LIM ITS OF THE CITY OF GILROY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CO~STRUCTING, MAINTAI _ lNG' AND REPARING A PAVED HIGHWAY ON SAID PART OF SAID STREET. \" , The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do ordain as f'ollows: Section I. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara is hereby permitted the use of Sixth Street from the Easter- ly line of Forest Street to the Easterly limits of the City of Gi:J,. ray f'or the purpose of' constructing, maintaining and repairing a paved road on said street as a part of a State and County system of roads. Section II. The ,Board of Supervisors of Santa Clara County shall have power hereunder to pave and repair paving on said high- way and said portions of said street in such manner as it may de- termine ~nd the cost thereof to be paid out of the General Fund of the County Treasurer of the County of Santa Clara, but neither the said Board of Supervisors nor said County of Santa Clara shall be under any obligation after said improvement and highway is complet to further improve 01' maintain said highway. Section III~ This ordinance shall take effect and be in fore and ef'fect from and after its passage and approval.
