AN ORDINANCE INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR ThE Pl:JRC11ASE OF GILROY
WATER WORKS IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 19:31.
Tne Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do ordain
as follows:
That Notice. be given that sealed bids or proposals will be

P. M. of said day, for the purcnase in whole or any part or
number of Gilroy Water Work Improvement Bonds of 1931. Wnich
bonds are in the denominations of $500.00, eaCh bearing date of

the ;2~ day of ~_ , 1932, bearing interest at the
rate of 6 per c~ per an m payable semi-annually, and are pay-
able as follows:
Bonds number 1 and 2 are payable January 1, 1934.
Bonds number 3 and 4 are payab Ie January 1, 1935.
Bonds number 5 and 6 are payable January 1, 1936.
Bonds number 7 and 8 are payable January 1, 1937.
Bonds number 9 and 10 are pa~Tab Ie January 1, 1938.
Bonds number 11 and 12 are payable January 1, 1939.
Bonds number 13 a.nd 14 are payable January 1, 1940.
Bonds number 15 and 16 are payable January 1, 1941.
All bids or proposn ls must be unconditional and must be for
caSh gold coin of tile united States and for not less than tne par
value of said bonds. Said bids or proposals must be for and in-

clude accrued interest on said . . subsequent to July 1, 1932,
or so many ttlereof as are bid for and for less than the whole amount
of said bonds, must describe th.e particular portion thereof bid for,
giving tneir number and date of maturity.
EaCh bid must be accompanied by a check on some responsible
bank 5 per cent of tne bid. Said CHeck to be mHde payable to"tne

Mayor of the 0:1 ty of Gilroy. The Mayor and Common Council reserved
the right to reject any and all bids.

It is furtner ordained tnat tnis ordinance be published in
tile Gil~OY Evening Dispatch in two issues tnereof prior to the
/ (; - day of ~ / J , 1932.
Tne publicati this Ordinance shall be Notice to bidders
of the sale of said bonds and it is expressly ordered that no further
Notice of the sale of said bonds need be given.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately after its pass-
age and approval.! Adopted and passed this 6th day of September,
