ORDINANCE NO. 394
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF TIME FOR PAY-
MENT OF ALL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30TH,
1933, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
GILROY.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do or-
dain as follows:

Section I
1. On or before June 20th, 1933, all unpaid property taxes
which became due on the 3rd day of October, 1932, and became de-
linquent on the 20th day of April, 1933, plus five percent pen-
alty added thereto, pursuant to the provisions of the municipal
code of the City of Gilroy relative to taxation and revenue, may
be paid and shall be accepted by the City Tax Collector of the
City of Gilroy without payment of any additional penalty imposed
thereon by the provisions of the said Municipal Code of the City
of Gilroy.
Upon the payment of taxes as provided for by this section of
this ordinance, the City Tax Collector shall issue a receipt in
full for all t axes so paid' and no person shall be charged with
any additional penalty or interest on any installment so paid.
If property taxes be not paid on or before the 20th day of
June, 1933, as hereinabove presc'ribe4,the penalties provided for
by the provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy
shall be imposed and collected thereon in the manner prescribed
said Municipal Code.
2. On or before the 26th day of June, 1933, the Tax Collect
or of 'the City of Gilroy must make for the use of the city a com-
plete delinquent list of all persons and the property upon which
taxes have not been paid, in which list must be set out in numeri

calor alphabetical order all matters and things contained in
the assessment roll and relating to delinquent persons or prop-
erty.
This section shall be construed as extending the time of
making said delinquent list from the first Monday in May, 1933,
as provided by the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy to on,
or before June 30th, 1933.
3. This ordinance shall not effect any of the provisions
of the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy with respect to any
year subsequent to the fiscal year ending June 30th, 1933, and
shall not effect any of the provisions of the Municipal Code of
the City of Gilroy except as in this ordinance particularly set
forth.
Sect ion II
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflice here-
with are hereby repealed.
Section III

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon and
after its passage and approval.
