AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A PLANNING COMMISSION FOR SAID CITY.
THE MAYOR AND COMMON C OUNC IL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: There is hereby established a Planning Commission
for the City of Gilroy, California. Said Commission shall consist of
nine (9) members, six (6) of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor,
with the consent of the Common Council. The Mayor, the City Attorney
and the City Engineer shall be, eX-Officio, members of said Commission.
The members of said Commission shall have the terms of office pre-
scribed by law.
SECTION 2: Said Planning Commission shall have the powers and
duties prescribed by law.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
forae and effect from and after its passage and approval.
