AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER III, OF
PART III OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF GILROY BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO, TO BE NUMBERED 354 AND TO
REQUIRE A SERVIOE CHARGE FOR INSTALLING WATER METERS
HEREAFTER AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLIC~ THEREWITH.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do
ordain as follows:

Section 1. That Article I of Chapter III of Part III
of the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy be, and the same
is hereby amended by adding a new section thereto to be
numbered 354 and read as follOWS, to~wit:
Section 354. Persons desiring the use of water shall,
upon making application for such service, pay to the City
Clerk the sum of Three Dollars for the installation of a

water meter.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed~
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
