OF GILHOY, HELATIVE ~J.10 irIUI~ CLASSIFI CATION OF BUSINESSES, AND
CHAHGES FOR 1,1 CENSES.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy do
ordain as follows:
SECTION I
That Paragraph No. 23 of Section No. 310 of Article II,
Part tl! of the Municipal Code of the City of Gilroy be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit:
Sec. 23. MEDICINE. VENIX:>RS--F'or every patent medicine
vendor using music or other means to attract crowds or for the
sale of patent medicine by any other method than at a fixed
and permanent place of business, such as a drug store or an
apothecary shop, the sum of Fifty Dollars per quarter.
TRAVELING EXHIBITIONS--For every traveling exhibition
employing devises such as telescopes, microscopes, lung testers,
muscle testers, ball, knife or ring throwing, and all devices
similar in character, and for each concession connected with
street shows or cax'nivals not otherwise licensed the sum of

Five Dollars per day.
SECTION II.
All ordinances or parts of Ordinances of the City of Gilroy
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SEcrrION III
This Ol'dinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
