That Section 354, Article I, Chapter 111 of Part III of the I
Municipal Code ot the City of Gilroy be, and the same 1s I
Section I
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 354 a. Persons desiring the use of water shall
~ upon making application for suc~ service, pay to the City
Clerk theaum of One and one.halt' ($1.50) Dollars for the in...
stallation of a water met<<r.
b. When a water meter is to be installod in a house or
on premises not owned by the applicant, a further deposit of
'rhree ($3.00) Dollars must acco~pany the applioation and be
paid to the Oity Clerk, whioh Three Dollars will be returned to
the applicant wl1enthe service is discontinued, provided all
charges for water used be paid.

are hereby repealed.
Section III
This ordinance lJhall take effect and be in force upon and
after its passage and approval.
