In response to your request, RBF Consulting is pleased to present this addendum to
provide additional design services for the improvements of Santa Teresa Boulevard.
Included in this scope are the revisions to the street improvement plans, and sections to
implement the full reconstruction of Santa Teresa Boulevard. A electronic file will be
transmitted for the entire project upon approval of the plans

Proposed Compensation, Exhibit "B ".

SCOPE OF WORK

TASK 1.0 IMPLEMENT PAVEMENT REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS
TASK 1.1 MODIFY SANTA TERESA BLVD. IMPROVEMENT PLANS

Consultant will modify previously prepared plans to incorporate the
recommendations of Earth Systems Consultants in their report dated August
27, 2001 for full reconstruction for the Santa Teresa Boulevard Project from
1400' south of 1St Street to Sunrise Drive. Modifications include revising the
base plans, the dimensions, construction notes and other annotations on:
• Three Typical Section Sheets
• Six Demolition Plan Sheets
• Eight Improvement Plan Sheets
• Consultant will modify profile between Sta 21 +00 and Sta 28 +00 to
minimize cross fall slope as a result of new construction.
• Modify Curb Ramp and Soundwall Layout at the northwest corner of
Longmeadow Drive to avoid right -of -way takes.
TASK 1.2 FINAL QUANTITY AND COST ESTIMATES
Consultant will modify previously prepare sections (75 sections) and
recalculate total earthwork and pavement quantities. Consultant will revise
final cost estimate for Santa Teresa Boulevard.
TASK 1.3 MODIFY MANTELLI DRIVE IMPROVEMENT PLANS
Consultant will modify previously prepared plans to include the following
revisions:
• Incorporate into plan set the recommendations of Earth Systems
Consultants in their report dated August 27, 2001
• Revise Curb Ramps and Soundwall Layouts for west curbs on
Mantelli Drive
• Modify base plans and profiles to install extruded median curb rather
than median curb and gutter
• Modify profile on Mantelli Drive at Zinna Way based upon recent field
survey of as -built conditions.
• Modify storm drain lateral at Mantelli and Zinna to avoid newly
installed electrical vault

• Revise cross sections and recalculate earthwork quantities based
upon new structural sections.
• Modify specifications, bid proposal and cost estimates based upon
new structural section
• Modify plans to incorporate maintenance vehicle turnout
• Revise landscape and irrigation plans to incorporate maintenance
vehicle turnout
TASK 1.4 CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS
Consultantwill prepare the following additional legal descriptions and exhibits
for the construction of Santa Teresa Boulevard. The new construction
easements and vacations are a result of Lot 50 of Tract 7636 located at Sta.
65 +00 being divided into three parcels. That information was not available
to us at the initial count.
• 3 new construction easements for the soundwall construction
• 3 new right of way vacation documents for the soundwall construction
• 1 revised fee take at the southwest corner of Mantelli Drive based
upon new soundwall layout.
• 1 revised construction easement at the southwest corner of Mantelli
Drive based upon new soundwall layout
(Initial contract and addendums indicates that RBF was to provide 120 fee
takes, right -of -way vacations and construction easements. To date RBF has
provided 133 legal descriptions and exhibits.)

ADDENDUM #7
The total payment to CONSULTANT for all work, service, material, equipment and
incidentals necessary for performing and completing the Tasks set forth in this agreement,
shall be for the sum of $26,076.00
CITY shall compensate CONSULTANT in proportion to the services performed and
invoiced to the CITY as outlined below, subject to Article 4 of this agreement.
