Resolution 126 572 RESOLUTION NO. 126 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING MElvDRANDDM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CEl..lT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MA.JOR IMPORTANCE --1 W~~REAS, a memorandum of agreementthas been presented to be entered into with the State of California in accordance with a project state- ment for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year 1941 allocated for streets of major importance other than State Highways in the City of Gilroy; and VrnEREAS, the city Council has heard read said agreement in full and is familiar with the contents thereof; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of Gilroy that said project statement be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major importance other than State high- ways, and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the mayor and the city clerk are direct- ed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the City upon its ex- ecution by the authorized officials of the State. PASSED ,APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of July, 1940 at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City 0 l' Gilroy. AYES: Councilmen: George A.Martin,George M.
