APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THAT CERTAIN MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDIT1'RE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ON STATE
HIGHWAYS AND m'ITERED IWrO BY AND BETWEEN SAID CITY OF
GILROY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE STATE-
OF CALIPORNIA ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE DIRECrrOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS, WHICH MEr;:ORANDtJ1\1 OF AGREEMENT WAS DATED
JANUARY 3, 1938 AND DULY EXECUTED BY THE RESPECTIVE
PARTIES NAMED IN SAID AGREEMENT, WITH REFERENCE TO PROJECT
No.6, THE LOCATION THEREON BEING ON MONTERE.Y STREET,
ROUTE 2, FROM FIEST STREET TO SIXTH STREET IN SAID CITY
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City
of Gilroy that the certain Memorandum of Agreement made and
entered by and between the State of California Department of
Public Works and the City of Gilroy, a muniCipal corporation, be,r
with the permission and consent of said State of CaliforniaLe-
partment of Public Works, amended in the following particulars towit:
That portion of said agreement Which reads as follows:
