BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Gilroy convey to IGNAZIO
FILICE and ANGELINA FILICE, his wife, as joint tenants, the
following described real property, to wit:
All that certain real property situate in the City of
Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
described as follows:
PORTION oi LOT 2, in Block 2, North Range 2 East~as shown
upon Map No.6, accompanying Report of the Commissioners
in Henry Miller et al, Plaintiffs vs. Massey Thomas, et al,
Defendants, in the Superior Court of the State of California
in and for the County of Santa Clara, Case Number 5536,
and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Southwesterly line of Alexander
Street, distant Northwesterly th.ereon 275 feet from its
intersection with the Northwesterly line of Martin Street,
as said Streets are shown upon the Map above referred to;
running thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line
of Alexander Street, 50 feet to the most Northerly corner
of Lot 2, in Block 2, North Range 2 East, as shown upon
the above Map; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly
line of said Lot 2, 137 feet to the Northeasterly line of
a certain 16 foot alley, as shown upon said Map; thence
Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of said alley,
50 feet; thence Northeasterly parallel with the North-
westerly line of said Lot 2, 137 feet to the point of
beginning.
That the consideration for suoh transfer shall be the sum of
Eight Hundred and nO/lOO ($800.00) Dollars, out of which sum there
shall first be paid all taxes against said property, all costs of
certificate of title and costs of quieting title, and after which
the said City of Gilroy shall receive the net balance.
Passed, approved and adopted this 4th day of April, 1938, at
a regular meeting of the Common Council of the City of Gilroy.
