Resolution 97 4rl .~ J RES 0 L UTI 0 N N 0 97. ---------- --- I""" A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GILROY TO FILE AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TfffiOUGH THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A GP~NT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ARMORY BlTILDING AND DESIGNATING BINDER & CURTIS, ARCHITECTS OF SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA TO FUm~ISH SUCH INFORMATION AS THE GOVERN1rnNT 1~Y REQUEST. BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Counoil: SECTION 1. That S. D. HECK as Mayor of the City of Gilroy, be and he is authorized to execute and file an application on be- half of the City of Gilroy, California to the United States of America for a grant to aid in financing the construction of an Armory Building within said City of Gilroy, California on prop- erty owned by it at Sixth and Rosanna Streets in said City. SECTION 2. That Binder & Curtis, Architects of San Jose, Cali- fornia be and they are hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the United States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works may reasonably ,request in connection with the application which is herein authorized to be r I filed.
