Motion by'Chase B. pierce seconded by Gerald Hecker that the following Resolution be adopted: WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gil- roy did on the 7th day of lovember, 1927, pass a Resolution whereby it was resolved that the City Surveyor and Engineer be instructed to furnish to the Common Council complete plans and specifications for storm sewers tor the entire city, and WHEREAS subsequent thereto and on the 21st day of Novem- ber, 1927, the said Mayor and Common Council did pass a reso- lution whereby it was Resolved that the City Engineer be and he is hereby instructed to prepare plans and speoifications for paving with conorete paving the following streets: Eigleberry Street from the South line of Sixth Street to the South side of First street, Sixth street from the East side of Eigleberry Street to the West line of Monterey street, ~nd from the East line of Mon- terey street to the Southern Paoific Rail~oad tracks, Fifth Street from ~he West line of Monterey Street to the East line of Carmel street, Martin Street from the East line of Monterey Street to the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks, Lewis street from the East line of Monterey Street to the West line of Forest street, . Fourth street from the West line of Monterey Street to the East line of Eigleberry street, Seoond Street from the West line of Monterey street to the East line of Eigleberry street, For a storm sewer to properly drain said streets proposed to be paved. AID WHEREAS there is a conflict between the reolution pass- ed on the 7th day of November, 1927, and the resolution passed on the 21st day of N,vember, 1927, as to the extent of the storm sewer, and WHEREAS there is inoertainty in the resolution passed 10- vember 21st, 1927, as to the class of paving for which speci-.fioations are to be prepared, in so far that said resolution does not show the kind of conorete paving with whioh said "" .~.' ~"-,-"'._,,,., ,,''''~~'''~'= """~''"''''"'''''''', 11;7 iilT, OJ " -~)r_'~"" w'o"!'
