CONTRACT.
\~S, The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy did, in open
session on the 25th day of February 1924, publicly open, examine and declare
all sealed proposals or bids fer doing the following work in said City, to-wit:
Furnishing and installing cast iron water pipe and fittings; bronze
iron body valves; Fire Hydrants and fittings; Neptune water meters;
Concrete meter boxes; Service connections; service pipe; and the
removal of old hydrants and water pipes; all in accordance with
plans and speci fi cati ons for doing said work as prepLred by Chas.
E. Sloan, City Engineer, and heretofore adopted by said Common
Council as the pla.ns and specifications for work and hereby re-
ferred to for further part iculars: and.
WHER&AS, said Mayor and Cormnon Council did. after examining uSd sea.led
proposals or bids. submit same to the City Engineer for Computation. and,
WHEREAS. said City Engineer has, after computing said sealed proposals
or bids. submitted to the said Council the results of said computation, as
follows:
