OITY OI!' GILROY", filed in the office of the Oounty Recorder in Licensed Book IF' of page 49, on March 31st 1896, Records of Santa Olara Oounty, Oalifornia; and as shov'w'n on "l4ap of the subdivision of Las Animas sub10t No. 11 and Las Animas Ranchlot No. 39 in the Rancho Las Animas and City of Gilroy", filed in the office of the Oounty Recorder in Book "F.l" of bps at page 4, on August 12th 1896, Records of Santa Clara Oounty, Calif- ornia; and as shown on Map entitled "Miller and Lux Western Addi tion to the Oi ty of Gilroy", filed in the office of the CO'lmty Recorder in Map Book 'F', at page 45, on October 25th 1920, Records of Santa Clara CO'lmty, Oalifornia; and as shown on "Map of \v.m Hanna's Subdivision of Lots 6 and 8 of Block 2. S. R. 1. W., filed in the office of the Oounty Reoorder, in Map BOOk 'C' at page 67, on March 8th 1888, Records of Santa Clara County, California; and as shown on the map entitled "Map of the Gilroy Land Co's., Subdivision Tractn, filed in the office of the Oounty Recorder in Volume 'ii'.2'. of Maps at Page 37 on November 16th 1905; Records of Santa Clara County, California; all be improved as follows: That the road~ys of all of the portions of said Streets, avenues and lanes as above described be graded to accord with their respective official grades, for the various "I";idths and in the nanner indicated by the plans and s:P8ci- fications hereinafter referred to; Tha t sai d roadways be paved with Ylarreni te-Bi tuli thic wear- ing surface, laid on an asphaltic concrete base, ~1th header bOards at certain places of the various widths and thickness- es and in the manner indicated by said plans and S}:ecifications; That corrugated metal culverts and branches be constructed at various locations on said streets, avenues and lanes and of the size and d~enBions and in the manner indioated by said plans and speoifications; ~ ,# > v-d I -->I That concrete curbs, concrete gutters, and concrete side- Vl&lks be constructed along the curb, gutter and sidewalk lines, respectively, of all of said streets, avenues and lanes as indicated by said plans and specifications; That concrete catchbasins be constructed at various places in said streets and of various sizes and ullnensions and in the manner indicated by said plans and specifications; That vitrified iron stone storm sewer pipe, concrete catch- basins and brick manholes be constructed in said streets at ~~riotis locations, of the sizes and dimensions and in the, manner indicated by ss.id plans and specificat ions; Excepting, however, from the above described work such portion or portions of the concrete curbs, concrete gutters, concrete sidewalks and pave- !!lent abOVe described as are already constructed to line and official grade. and excepting also from the above described work any and all portions thereof which are described more than once or repeated because of descriptions re-arossing streets at intersections, it being the intention to describe only ane improve- ment at such street crossing; and, eexcepting also, from all of the above de- scribed work such portion or portions as are required by law to be kept in order or repair by any person or Company having railroad tracks thereon; The plans and specifications above mentioned and referred to are said plans and specifications ordered to be prepared as aforesaid. ------ I hereby certify that the foregoing re801ut ion 116.8 duly and regularly passed and adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy, at a regular meeting of said BOlmcil held on th<;l third day of March 1924, by the following vote; AYES: Councilmen ~o:.
