RESOLUTION NO. 131
RESOLUT ION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR
EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GA.8 TAX ALLOCATED ]OR STATE
HIGHWAYS.
WHEREAS, the state of Oalifornia, through its Depart~
artment of Publio Works, Division of Highways, has presented
a memorandum of agreement in accordanoe with a project state-
ment submitted by the Oity for expenditure of the 1/4 cent
gas tax for the 1941-43 biennium allocated for State High-
ways in the Oi ty 0 f Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, the Common Oouncil has heard read said agreement
in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Oouncil of the
Oity of Gilroy that said agreement for the expenditure of
the 1/4 oent gas tax allocated for State Highways be and the
same is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are
directed to sign the same on behalf of said Oity.
Approved and adopted this 5th day of May,194l at a relula~
meeting Of the Oommon Council of the Oity of Gilroy.
