BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Common Council of the City
of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, as follows,
to wit:
Tha."t all persons of Japanese Ancestry be now and forever
hereafter excluded from the said City of Gilroy.
AOOPTED AND PASSED this 2nd day of August, 1943, by
the following votes:
AYES: Councilmen: ~eorge M.Mason,Nat Heiner,J .H. Wentworth,
David V.Stout.
NOES: Councilmen:None
ABSENT: Councilmen: Gemr8& A.Martin,James Battersby.
