RESCUJTION OF TIlE COMMON COUNCIL OF TEE
CITY OF GILROY APPROVING MEMORANDl7M Olt" AGHEElvlENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CEl\T GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STATE
HIGHWAYS
Y.HEHEAS, the State of" California,through its Department
of Public ~orks, Division of Highways, has p~esented a
memaramum of agreement in accordance with a project state-
ment submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent
gas ta x for the 1945-47 biennium allocated for State High-
ways in the City of Gilroy; and
DHEHEAS, the Common Council has heard read said agree-
ment in full and familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the
City of Gilroy tl1at said agreement for expenditure of the
1/4 cent gas tax allocated for State highways be and the same
is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are
directed to sign the same on behalf of sl:iad City.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 2nd day of July,1945 by the following
vote:
AYES:Councilmen George A.Martin,George M.Mason,.J.B.Wentworth,
David V.Stout.
NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Nat Heiner,Ber~y J.Schilling.
