RESOLUTION NO.184
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPEN-
DITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STATE HIGH-
WAYS.
VffiEREAS, the State of California, through its
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has
presented a memorandum of agreement in accordance
with a project statement submitted by the City for
expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the 1948
fiscal year allocated for State highways in the City
of Gilroy; and ·
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said
agreement in full and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Gilroy that said agreement for expen-
diture of the l/4 cent gas tax allooated for State
highways be and the same is hereby approved and the
Ma~or and the City Clerk are direoted to sign the

same on behalf of said city.
ADOPTED this Jrd day of November, 1947 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen George A.Martin, George M.
Mason, Nat Heiner, J.H.Wentworth,
Ray L.Stevens and James B.Thomas.
