RESOLUTION NO. 198
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING A PROPOSED AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF GILROY AND THE DEPAR'lmN'r OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA ACTING BY AND THROUGH TEE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DO RESOLVE AS l'OLLOWS:
WEEREAS, the City of Gilroy, by and through its CJommon Council,
said Common Council being the legislative and governing body of
said City of Gilroy, desire to approve and adopt a certain prop-
osed agreement providing for joint highway maintenance so offered
to it by the said Depar~ment of Public Works ot the State ot
California acting by a~d through the Division of H1gh~ys, the same
being on file with the City of Gilroy.
THEREFORE, the Common Council of the City of Gilroy, being the
Legislative and Governing body of said municipality, do hereby
adopt and approve the proposed agreement tor joint highway main-
tenance, such agreement covering the first half of the calendar
year 1948, and a cppy thereof being on tile with the Clerk of the
City of Gilroy.

ADOPTED AND PASSED this 5th day of April, 1948, by the
following votes:

and George Mason.
Noes: Councilmen
None.
Absent: Councilmen j. B. Thomas and Hat Heiner.
