RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING Mm-
ORANDUM OF AGREEMEN'I' FOE EXPENDI'I'URE OF GAS TAX
ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREFl'S.

WHEREAS,a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be
entered into with the State of California in accordanoe with a
torject statement submitted by the City or Gilroy for expenditure
of the gas tax allocation to cities for the fiscal year 1949,and
WHEREAS,the city council has beard read said agreement in
full and is familiar with the contents tbereor;
THEREFORE,be 1t resolved by the city Bounci1 ot the City of
Gilroy tha~ said project statement be and is hereby adopted as the
budget Of-proposed expenditures of gas tax allocation to cities,
and asid' agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor
and the City Clerk are direoted to Sign the same on bebalf ot said
