Resolution 214 RESOLUTION NO. 21~ WHEREAS, Carl J. Weppener long an employee of the City of Gilro7, died on January 22,1949, and, WHEREAS, said Carl J.Weppener had been an employee of the City of Gilroy oontinuously for more than twenty years and Superinten- dent of Streets and Sewers for mo.el*Ban 15 years last past and during this long term,served this oommunity honestly,ably and energetically, and, WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council o~ the City of Gilroy deem it fitting and proper that a permanent reoord be made of the services rendered the City o~ Gilroyby one who has so faithfully performed his publi c duty, NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that in the death of said Carl J. Weppener, the City of Gilroy has lost and upright,loyal and oapable public servant and highly respected citizen, and his family a devoted husband,parent and counsellor, and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a oopy of this resolution duly oerti- fied as suoh by the City Clerk of the City 01' Gilroy be delivered to the survuvung wife and family of said decedent.
