ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF SUBPOENAS TO SECURE THE ATTrlNIDll.NCE uF
WITNESSES IN THE HEARING ON THE REPORT FILED BY J. R. JAMISON SERVICE
RELATIVE TO THE POLICE DEPARTMETIT UF GILROY.
'dHEREAS, a hearing has been ordered before the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of Gilroy for March 21st, 1949, at
the hour of 2 Of clock p.m. in the City Hall to
inquire into
charges, statements and asser,tions made in a rE:port filed with the
said City Council relative to the Police Department of the ~ity
of Gilroy which includes grave charges against the City Marshal
of the City of Gilroy and
WHEREAS it is necessary to secure the attendance of
witnesses at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ()~DERED
that subpoenas be issued in the usual form on behalf of the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy and said subpoenas
be signed by the City Clerk with the seal of the City of Gilroy affixed
thereto and that said subpoenas shall be served upon such persons
or person as the City Marshal may require as well as others.
