RESOLUTION NO.22l
RESOLUTION OF THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING
MEMORANDU1\.l OF AGRE]}iENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF
GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR lv1AJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be
entered into with the state of California in accordanoe with a
project statement submitted to the City 0 f Gilroy for expenditure
of gas tax allocation to oities for the fiscal year 1950, and
WHEREAS, the city counoil has heard read said agreement in full
and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city counoil of the City of
Gilroy that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted as
the budget 0 f proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocat ion to
cities, and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and
the mayor and the city clerk are direoted to sign the same on be-
half o~ said city, said agreement to be binding upon the city
upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State.
