RESOL1'ITION NO. 225
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMi
ORANDMUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX
ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, a first supplemental memorandum ot agreement has
been presented to be entered into with the State of California
in acoordanoe with a projeot statement submitted by the City ot
Gilra.y for expenditure of gas tax allocation to oities for the
fisoal year 1950, and
WHEREAS, the Common Counoil has': neard read said agreement
in full and is ~lar with the contents thereot;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Counoil of the City
of Gilroy that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted
as the budget ot proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation
to oi ties, and said agreement be and the SaIne is hereby approved
. and the mayor and the city olerk are direoted to sign the same on
behalf of said city, said agreement to be binding upon the City
upon its exeoution by authorized officials of the State.
