Resolution 268 RESOLUTION NO.268 RESOLUTION PROVIDING TEAT RESOLUTION NO.260 SHALL BE INOPERATIVE SIX MONTH AFTER DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS,DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, WITHDRAVlS 'mE DEPARTMENT'S APPROVAL OF SAID RESOLUTION NO. 260. VlliEREAS the Common Councilor the City or Gilroy,did , on the 7th day of May,1951, ~dopt Resolution No.260 providing for the parking of vehicles on IJonterey Street batween Fourth Street and Seventh Street in the City of Gilroy,said street being a public highway,and VmEREAS a certified copy of said resolution was forwarded to the said Department of Public Works and the resolution has been approved by the Department of Public Works,conditioned however upon the adop- tion of either ans amendment thereto or a new resolution oontaining a provision that the said Resolution No.260 cease to be operative six (6) months after receipt of the Common Council of written notice of withdrawal of the approval of the Department of Public Works,and WHEREAS the Common Council deems it expedient and proper to comply with the requirement of the said Department of Pablic Works, NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Gilroy that said Resolution No.260 shall be inoperative six (6) monthis after withdrawal by the Department 0' Public Works of its approval of said resoluti6n in case such approval is withdrawn; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution, duly certified by the City Clerk,be immediately forwarded to the Depart- ment of Public Works ,Division of Highways,State of California.
