RESOLUTION OF THE CO}IT~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING MEMDRANDUM
OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITUHE' OF GAS TAX ALLOC-
ATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be
entered into with the State of California in accordance with a project
statement submitted by the City 0 f Gilroy for expenditure of gas

tax allocation to cities for the fiscal year 1953, and
:,'.IIEREAS, the C;om;lon~ounc il has heard read said agreement in full
and is faniliar vii th the contents thereof;
rrIIERJ3~FOHE, be it resolved that t he Jommon COUl1C il of the City
of Gilroy that said project sta$ement be and it is hereby adopted
as the budget of proposed expenditures of gas tax allocation to
cities,and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the
:,;ayor and the City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of
said City,said agreement to be binding upon the Jity upon its
execution by the authorized officials of the State.
