RESOLUTION OF TfIE COM1\:CH COillJCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY PROPOSING
AND INITIATING AMENDMENT TO ORDI1TANCE NO.422 OF THE CITY OF GILROY
CO!:iMONL Y KNOW1J AS THE ltZONING OHDIN,ANCEIl, BY CHAlTGIN'G THE BOUNDARIES
OF B and C-l DISTRICTS.
BE IT RESOLVED:
That the. Common Council of the City of Gilroy does hereby propose
that the Zoning Ordinance No .422 of the City of Gilroy be amended by
changing territory in and boundaries of B and C-l Districts or Zones
as follows:
That the follow ing described territory in t he said City of Gilroy
now in !SB" District or Zone be taken therefrom and put in and included
in ftC_1M Zone,to wit:
Comm,encing at the point of intersection of
the 1 ine dividing Lots 5 and 6 of Bloc;"( 5
rTorth of Range 4 Trest of the City of Gil1"oy
with the southerl.y line of First Street,and
running thence along the southerly line of
First Street to the widpoint thereon in Block
5 North Qf Range 2 West Qf the City of Gilroy;
thence in a southeasterly directioll and parallel
with the westerly line of Eigelberry Street
150.00 feet; thence in a southv;e sterly direction
and parallel with the southerly line of First
Street to a point which will be intersected by
the southeasterly prolon~ation of t he line
between said Lots 5 and o,and t hence in a
nort~vesterly direction along the said pro-
longation and tl1,e said dividing line to the
point of beginning;excludir€,however,from
the said premise.s all that portion thereof now
included in ltC-I" Zone.
BE. IT FURTHER RE SOL \TED:
That the matter of said zoning change be referred to the City
2.F.1.anning CO,Q1mission of tile City of Gilroy for its report and
recorrmendation thereon in accordance with the zoning ordinance of
the City of Gilroy and law,and fl1at a copy of this Resolution be
forthwith delivered to the said City Pl~1l1ing Commission of the
City of Gilroy.
