OF GIIROY WITHDRAWING TERRITORY WI'l'HIN THE BOUNDARY OF
AND FORMING A PABT OF GILROY RUBAL FIRE DISTRICT \ti ICH
HAS BEEN ANl't&XJ!,'D TO THE CITY OF GILROY WHILE A PART OF
SAID FIRE DISTRICT.
WBEREAS, there has heretofore been annexed to the
City of Gilroy the following described real property,
to-wit:

southerly' line of the Hecker Pass Highway
(Bodfish Mill Road) with the Westerly Limit
Line of the City of Gilroy and running thence
westerly along the souther1y line of Hecker
Pass Highway 84.64 feet to the easterly line
of Miller Avenue; thence along said easterly
line 1826.99 feet to the intersection with
the southerly line of Third street; thence
easter~y along said southerly line 727.48 feet
to the westerly line of Princevalle street,
being also the westerly Corporate Limit Line
of the City of Gilroy; thence northerly along
said Limit Line 1637090 feet to the point of
beginning;
said premises having been annexed to the City of Gilroy
under the designation of "FIRST WESTERN ADDITION."

WHEREAS, all of the said land hereinabove described was at
the time of its annexation to the said 'City of Gilroy a part
of a Fire Prot.ction District organized under the statutes or
1923, Chapter 191 as set forth in Sections ll.t400 to 14591+ of
the Health and Safety Code ~known as Girroy Rural Fire District; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Gilroy desires
to vtthdraw the said land and premises from the said Gilroy
Rural Fire District.
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That all of the premises and land hereinabove described be,
and the same is hereby, withdrawn from the said Gilroy Rural
Fire District and it shall no longer form a part or portion
thereof.
