RESOLUTION NOo 316 OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY

FOR THE FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF SEWER AND WATER MAIN~1
SIDEWALKS 1 CURBS J AND GUTTERS, AND THE GRADING, OILING AND ~VELLING
OF STREET::> AND ALLEYSo
WHEREAS, GEORGE C. RENZ has heretofore furnished to the
City of Gilroy an executed bond of the United Pacific Insurance
Corporation in the sum of $2~,OOOoOO, dated May l~, 1952, which
bond is conditioned upon and was issuedto secure the performance
of an agreement by GEORGE C. RENZ and DONALD W. RENZ that they
would furnish and install sewer and water mains, sidewalks, curbs
and gutters, and grade, oil and level streets and alleys, all in
Tract of land known as Tract No. 971 ItWayland Lane Tracto"; and
WHEREAS, the said GEORGE C. RE~'"Z and DONALD W. RENZ have
performed all of the work and installed all of the facilities and
done all of the thin[s required to be done under the aforesaid
agreement and secured to be performed by the said bond except the
oiling of certain alleys in the aforesaid Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Common Counc il of the C1 ty of Gilroy has
been informed by the City Engineer of the City of Gilroy that it

will not cost in excess of $ '500.0D to complete all of the work
and furnish all of the materials secured to be performed and
furnished bv the afore said bond, and the penal sum of sal d bond can be

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the penal sum of said bond be reduced from the said
