FHOM GILROY RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT OF CERTA.IN TERRITORY
HERETOF'ORE THERIN ~""HICH HAS BEEN ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHERE:AS,there has heretofore and on the sixth day of JUly,1951,
been annexed to the City of Gilroy under the designation of ttRENZ
WAYLMID TRACTtt, the following described property located in the County
of Santa Clara,State of California, to-wit:
BEGI11\ING at the northwesterly corner of the 6ity
of Gilroy and running thence along the westerly
corporate limits of the City of Gilroy S. 200W. to
the intersection therenf with the northerly l~e; of
First Street;thence westerly along the northerly line
of First Street to the southerly common corner of Tanch
Lots 24 and 23;thence northerly along the line common to
said Lots to the intersection thereof with the prolong-
ation westerly of the northerly corporate limits of the
City of Gilroy;thence easterly along said line to the
point of beginning,and being a portion of Ranch Lot 24
of the Las Animas Rancho as shwon on Map No.7 accompany-
ing the report of the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho
Partition Suit,Action 1'0.5536 had in the Superior Court
of the state of California,in and for the County of Santa
Clara.
WHEMAS, said premises so annexed to t.he City of Gilroy were,
at the time of annexation, included in and formed a part of Gilroy
Rural Fire ~rotection District,and the Common Council of the City
of Gilrot desires that said territory so annexed be withdrawn from
said fire protection ~istrict.
NOll'-, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That said territory hereinbefore described and so annexed to
the City of Gilroy as ~tRENZUAYLAt'I\JD LM""E TRACTtt be, and the same
is,hereby withdrawn from said Gilroy Rural Fire Protection District.
