RESOLUTION NO. i66
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the Crty of Gilroy has heretofore .............1
approved the plat and map of the aubdivisio~ of' certain property
within the City of Gilroy owned by GEORGE C.RENZ,and known and
designated as tlTract No.1046 Renz Additionlt ,upon the condition
that the said George C.Renz should furnish and install certain
improvements therein including the grading and oiling ot streets
and alleys,and the QQnstruct,ion of sidewalks, curbs and gutters in
accordance with the requirements of the City of Gilroy,and the
said George C.Renz did enter into a written contract with the City
of Gilroy to furnish or cause to be furnished the said improvements;
and,
WHEREAS,the said George C.Renz was also required to firnish,and
did furnish before the approval of the said map and plat of the
subdivision, a bond in favor of the said City of Gilroy,executed
by the United Pacific Insurance Company,in the penal sum chf
$15,000.00, conditioned upon the furnishing and installation of
sewer and water mains,grading,gravelling,and oiling streets and
alleys,and the construction and installation of sidewalks,curbs,
~d gutters;and,
WHEREAS,the said George C.Renz has fully complied with all
provisions and conditions set forth in said bond,and there is no
longer any liability existing on the part of said bonding company.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the conditions as set forth in t he said bond,and upon which
the said bond has been given, have been perfonned ~d completed,and
that the said surety on the said bond is exonerated and declared
not liable thereunder.

ing vote:
