BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Gilroy enter into the following agreement with the
State of California relating to the premises known as the rear port~
ion of the Armory premises yard,at the Southwest corner of Church
and Sixth Stl?eets,in the City of Gilroy,County of Santa Clara,State
of California,to-wit:
Pursuant to Paragraph 6 of lease dated
1 June 1953, between the undersigned,as
lessor, and the State of California, as
lessee,covering premises known as Rear
Portion of the Armory Premises Yard of
Gilroy ,Southwe ste rly corner of 6th and
Church streets,Gilroy,it is hereby, agreed
that the State of California is author-
ized to remain in said premises on a
month to month basis beyond 31 July
1955, at the same rental rate,One Dollar
payable at the expiration of the lease,and
under the same terms and conditions
contained in the said lease insofar as
applicable.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the said agreement be executed on behalf of the City of
Gilroy by GEORGEM.MASON,Mayor of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED the 6th days of February,1956,by the following
vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Pate,Gallo,Kennedy,Rush,Sanchez
Noes: Councilmen None
Absent: Councilman Petersen
