RESOLUTION NO.378
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY FIXING
THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING REPORT AND RECDMMENDATION OF THE
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GILROY THAT ALL THE
PREMISES WITHIN THE SECOND NORTHERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
GILROY BE PLACED IN ZONE "D" DISTRICT AND THAT CERTAIN OTHER
PROPERTY BE CHANGED FROM ZONE "A" TO ZONE "B" DISTRICT, AND
THAT THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY BE AMENDED
ACCORDINGLY.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy
has reported, found and recommended, after due public hearing
had thereon, that Ordinance No.422 of the City of Gilroy,
commonly known as the zoning ordinance, be amended by changing
the boundary of Zone "D" District to as to include therein all
the premises in the City of Gilroy known as "Second Northern
Addition to the City of Gilroy", and changing the houndary lines
of Zone "A" Drustrict and Zone "B" District so as to include in
Zone "B" District all that part of the following described
premises not now in said Zone "B" District,to-wit:
Commencing at the point of intersection of
the northerly line of Broadway Street with
the easterly line of Wayland Lane, and
running thence in an easterly direction along
said northerly line of Broadway Street 327.10
feet to an alleYithence alpng the northwesterly
line of said alley 233.80 feet to a proposed
alleYithence at right angles in a southwesterly
direction 315.78 feet,more or less,to the
easterly line of Wayland Lane,and thence in a
sottheasterly direction along the easterly line
of Wayland Lane to the point of beginning.
Reference is hereby made to the map and Zoning Ordinance
now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Gilroy,
and,
WHEREAS, the law requires that a puhlic hearing on said
report and recommendation be held before the Common Council of
City of Gilroy,after notice duly given of said hearing. ~
NOW,THEREFORE, be it resolved, and it hereby ordered, that a
public hearing will be held before the Common Council of the
City of Gilroy on the 28th day of May,1956, at the hour of
8 o'clock p.m. of said day,at the Common Council Roon in the
City Hall in the City of Gilroy,County of Santa Clara, State of
California,and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk give notice of
the said hearing in accordance with law and the ordinances of
the City of Gilroy.
