RBSOIIUTION NO..1tli
BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City of Gilroy convey to the State of
California, the fOllowing described property located
in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State
of California, to-wit:
Being a portion of Las Animas Ranchlot 23
as shown on Amp No. 7 accompanying the final
report of the Referees in the Las Animas
Rancho Partition Suit, Action No. 5536 had
in,i,the Superior Court of the State of Calif-
ornia, in and for the County of Santa Clara,
and being also a portion of Lot 8 as shown
on map entitled "Map of Henry Miller's Sub-
division of Las Animas Ranchlot No. 23",
which map is recorded in Book "nil of I5aps
at page 5, Records of Santa Clara County,
C~lifornia, and being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a concrete monument set to
replace the original 4tf x 4tr stake 82M as
shown on said Map No. 7 at the corner common
to Ranchlots 23 and 24 in the southerly line
of Ranch Lot 25r and running thence along the
southwesterly 1 n6 of Ranchlot 24 8.2201,' E.
224.42 feet; thence S.890l0'W. 461.49 feet to
a point in the centerline of Wren Avenue (shown
as Avenue II on said Henry Miller Subdivision);
thence along the centerline of Wren Avenue N.Oo
42'E. 209.00 feet to an iron pipe at the inter-
section thereof with the southerly line of
Banchlot 25; thenceoalong the southerly line
of Ranchlot 25 N.89 lO'E. 373.35 feet to the
point of be~inning, and CO~~AINING TflliREIN
2.00 acres of land, gross; saving and excepting
therefrom, all that portion of the above des-
cribed premises located within the exterior
boundaries of Wayland Lane, as shown upon May
I~. 7 hereinabove referred to:
and that the said c~nveyance contain the following
prOvision. "This conveyance is made upon condition
that the State JI1lJ. co~ence c~nstr~ct~oriu~r a State
armory on the premises within five years from the
date hereof and will thereafter prosecute such con-
struct10n to completion with due diligence. Upon
failure to sO comnence construction of such State
armory, title shall revert to the grantor.1t
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the Mayor of the City of Gilroy be, and he
is hereby authorized to execute said deed on behalf
of the City of Gilroy, and when so executed that it
be delivered to the State of California.
