RESOLUTION NO. 453
RESOLUTION FOR FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING OF PROPOSED
AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Gilroy has filed with the City Clerk its report on the
proposal to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy
so as to change from Zone B District to Zone A District the
following described premises located in the City of Gilroy,
to wit:
Those certain premises located between 7th
Street and 8th Street and bounded on the west by
Princevalle Street and on the east by the alley
running through the block bounded by 7th Street,
8th Street, Dowdy Street and Carmel Street.
and, WHEREAS, the said City Planning Commission has given
notice of its hearing on the said proposal and in accordance
with law has held the said hearing and has in its said report
recommended that the said proposed amendement to the said
Zoning Ordinance be adopted~ and
w~EREAS, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy
and the law requires that a hearing be held before the said
Common Council on the said proposed amendment to the said
Zoning Ordinance; ?
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the

November, 1957, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Common
Council Chambers in the City Hall, Gilroy, California, be and
the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing the
said proposal to amend the said Zoning Ordinance, and that
notice of the said hearing be given in accordance with law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4 day of November, 1957~ by the
following votes:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Sanchez,Rush,Pate,Wentworth,Gallo, and
Petersen
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMENNone
