WHEREAS the City Planning Commission of the City of
Gilroy has reported, found and recommended that Ordinance
No. 422 of the City of Gilroy, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance, be amended by re-zoning from Zone "E" District
to Zone "B" District, the following described premises, to wit:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the
line dividing Sublot No. 8 and Sublot No. 7 as shown
on Map No. 8 accompanying the final report of the
referees in the Las Animas Rancho Partition Action in
the Superior Court of the State of California, in and
for the County of Santa Clara, entitled Henry Miller
et al., Plaintiffs vs Massey Thomas et al., defendants,
Action No. 5536, and the westerly line of the premises
of Hornbeck, running thence alon~lthe boundary line
between the said Sub lots 8 and 7~~etween said Sub lot 8
and 6 to the Northeasterly corner of the premises of the
4.951 acres of land conveyed by Angelo Mangano to
Gilroy Union High School District: thence in a South-
easterly direction along the Northeasterly line of said
4.951 acre tract of land so conveyed to Gilroy Union
High School District to the center line of I.O.O.F.
Avenue: thence in a Southwesterly direction along the
center line of said I.O.O.F. Avenue to its intersection
with the Northwesterly prolongation of the Northeasterly
line of Lot 1 of Tract 1051, Walnut Orchard Park Tract:
thence along said prolongation and the said Northeasterly
line of Lot 1 and the Northeasterly line of Lot 14 of
said Subdivision to the Northwesterly corner of Lot 15
of said Subdivision: thence in a Northeasterly direction
along the Northwesterly line of said Lot 15 and Lot 16
in said Tract No. 1051, Walnut Orchard Park Tract, to
the most northerly corner of said Lot 16, said point
being in the Westerly boundary line of the premises of
Radin; thence along the Westerly boundary line of the
said premises of Radin to its intersection with the line
dividing the premises of Radin and Piedmont: thence in
a Northeasterly direction along the line dividing the
premises of Radin and Piedmont to the westerly line of
the premises of Hornbeck: thence in a Northwesterly
direction along the said westerly line of the premises
of a9rnbeck to the point of beginning.
Reference is hereby had to the map and general zoning
ordinance now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing
