RESOLUTION NO.~
RESOLUTION CANCELLING AND TERMINATING LEASE IGREEMENT
COVERING ARMORY WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DATED OCTOBER
27, 1944 AND EXTENSIONS THEREOF.
Be it resolved that the agreement dated March 31st,
1958 between the City of Gilroy and the State of California,
terminating that certain lease between said parties dated
October 27, 1944, covering the armory facilities in Wheeler
Auditorium, and the extensions thereof, be and the same is
hereby approved and the Mayor of the City of Gilroy is
hereby authorized to execute said agfeement on behalf of
said City of Gilroy.
ADOPTED, PASSED and ORDERED this 6th day of May, 1956, by
the following vote:
AYES:
COUNCILMEN Pate, Rush, Petersen, Wentworth,Ga11o,
and Sanchez.
NOES:
Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen None
