OF THE COMMON COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF GILROY,
FIXING TIME OF HEARING OF PROPOSED ZONING OF
FOURTH WESTERN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS the City Planning Commission of the City of
Gilroy has on its own initiative proposed that the premises
located within the area known as the Fourth Western Addition to
the City of Gilroy be zoned "A" DISTRICT except for a strip of
land of a uniform width of 154.60 feet extending along the
southerly line of Hecker Pass Highway for the entire width of
said Fourth Western Addition which it is proposed be zoned
"C-l" DISTRICT,
And Whereas notice of the said proposed zoning has been
given in accordance with the law and the Ordinances of the City
of Gilroy and hearing held thereon by the said City Planning
Commission and it has duly made its report to the Common Council
of the City of Gilroy in which it finds that said zoning is in
the public interest and recommends that the said property be
zoned accordingly,
And Whereas it is necessary that a hearing be held before
the Common Council upon said zoningo
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved and it is hereby ordered
that the said matter of zoning of said tract of land and said
report and recommendation of the said City Planning Commission of
the City of Gilroy be heard before the Common Council of the City

of Gilroy on the J 5 day of December, 1958 at the hour of 8: 00
o'clocl P.M. in the Common Council Chambers, in the Municipal
Auditorium, at Sixth and Rosanna Streets, Gilroy, California, at
which time and place any person desiring to do so may appear and
object to such zoning.
ADOPTED and PASSED this 17th day of November, 1958, by
the following vote:
