RESOLUTION NO. 488
RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING GRANTING OF VARIANCE UNDER THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, CHARLES W. BONTADELLI has made application to
the City Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy for a
variance authorizing him to erect a fire resistive garage on
the Northeast corner of the premises known as No. 304 North
Church Street, in place of an old frame garage now in said
location; and,
WHEREAS, said Planning Cimmission has duly held a hearing
upon said application and has reported to the Common Council
of the City of Gilroy, that it approves the said application
upon the condition hereinafter set forth; and,
WHEREAS, the said Common Council of the City of Gilroy
has now considered the said application and report and does find
that the report of said Planning Commission should be approved
and said permit granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That said report ~ said
Planning Commission be approved and that said application be
granted subject to the condition that the said garage be set
back at least eighteen (18") inches from the Northerly boundary
line of the lot upon which it is located.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December, 1958, by the
following vote:
