A RESOLUnON OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CUY OF GILROY ALLOCATING THE VARIOUS
CLASSES OF POSITIONS IN THE CITY SERVICE TO APPROPRIAtE RANGES IN THE BAS[C
PAY PLAN, AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION [n OF ORDINANCE NO. 567 ADOPTED ON MARCH
3 , 1958 .
WHEREAS, it has been determined by an independent study that the pre-
vailing wage rates for publi~ and private employment in the area have risen
in the past two years, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of ~his Council to maintain City salaries on
a relatively competitive level with the salaries paid to public and priva~e
employees in the area, now, therefore,
BE [T RESOLVED, that the following pay ranges be applied to the several
classes of positions in the City Service.
