RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY GRANTING
USE PERMIT TO REPUBLIC POWDERED METALS, INC. , a Corporation.
WHEREAS, REPUBLIC POWDERED METALS, INC., a corporation,
has filed its verified petition with the City Planning Commission
of the City of Gilroy asking for a permit authorizing it to use
premises which it is acquiring from the City of Gilroy, located at
the Northwesterly corner of what is known as the Gymkhana Grounds on
Casey Street in the City of Gilroy for the purpose of constructing
thereon a building to be used for the manufacture and sale of cold
processed asphalt base roof coatings and cements, caulking compounds
and similar heavy-duty protective coatings, and to use the premises for
the purpose of manufacturing and selling said products, and,
WHEREAS, the said City Planning Commission of the City
of Gilr9Y, after duly hearing the said application and considering
the same, has made a report and recommendation to the Common Council
of the City of Gilroy in which it approved the said application and
recommended that the application be granted upon the condition that
"to
the property and manufacturing plant^be located thereon be used by
the said applicant in accordance with the application, and
WHEREAS the said report and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission is now presented to the Common Council of the
City of Gilroy for its action thereon, and the said Common Council has
duly considered the same, and also finds that the said application
should be granted in accordance with the report and recommendation of
the said City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said decision of
the said City Planning Commission and the report thereof upon the said
application be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed by the
Common Council of the City of Gilroy and said permit shall be issued
forthwith to the said applicant, which permit shall include the

condition that the said applicant shall use the said premises and
conduct thereon the business for which the use permit has been
sought, in accordance with the statements and description of the
business set forth in the application.
